Contract work
Check before signing
Before sending to A3.EDM, the system checks three things: the A3.Trust verdict on the counterparty, a valid power of attorney for our signatory and the checklist stop conditions.

What’s inside
- Sending for signing to A3.EDM from the contract card, and the result returns and changes the contract status.
- The signature level and whether A3.EDM is mandatory are set by the document type.
- The A3.Trust verdict and counterparty restrictions are shown next to the contract, and a document type can make the verdict mandatory.
- The signatory’s power of attorney is checked as of the signing date: authority, term and revocation.
- A checklist stop condition stops the sending. Only an employee with a separate permission and a justification can override it.
- A copy signed on paper is uploaded as a scan.
FAQ
Do we have to use A3.EDM?
No. A signed copy can be uploaded as a scan. A3.EDM is needed if the document type requires an electronic signature and exchange through the system.
Who can send a contract if a stop condition is triggered?
Only an employee with the permission to override stop conditions, and only with a justification. The justification is saved in the audit log.
