Hand a task to a lawyer and know what is happening with it
Situation
A manager needs a supplier contract by Friday. An email to the lawyer gets lost in the inbox, and the question “how is my contract doing” has to be asked by phone.
The requester creates an assignment: type, deadline, counterparty and materials.
The lawyer takes the assignment, prepares the contract and sends it along the approval route, where the requester sees their own step.
The assignment is closed with a result, a contract or a legal opinion, and the requester gives a rating from 1 to 5.
Result
The business gets the contract on time and sees its status on its own, and the lawyer stops answering “what is going on with my contract”.
