A business request becomes managed work with an assignee and a deadline, not an email without context. An assignment cannot be closed without a result.

What’s inside
- Seven types: drafting a document, legal consultation, counterparty check, preparing a claim, representation, document review, other.
- Whoever responds first takes it. Without a response, the assignment is auto-assigned or goes to the head of legal, who can also assign it directly.
- Completion requires a result: a contract, a claim, a case, an opinion, a check request or a file with a description.
- The requester accepts the result with a rating from 1 to 5 or returns it for revision.
- Discussion with attachments inside the assignment.
- Lawyer workload: active and overdue assignments for each lawyer.
FAQ
Does a requester take a paid seat?
No. Paid seats are taken by lawyers, the head of legal and administrators. Requesters and approvers work without a paid seat.
How does the head of legal see the team’s workload?
The workload screen shows each lawyer’s active and overdue assignments, and analytics adds missed deadlines by assignee.
